Mondole' Ski-Alp, Kilian Jornet and Jennifer Fiechter have won the final Individual Race

Kilian Jornet and Jennifer Fiechter won the final individual race of the ISMF World Cup circuit. Transalpine Laetitia Roux should have won the women’s race but was penalised lap time for a material problem.

At the Mondolé Ski facility competitors were timed over a 20km trail – a twice repeated loop with eight climbs, eight descents and 20 changes. Women and junior men had 1550m climb over 18 km, while the junior women were on a 1180m trail.

In the men’s race, Kilian Jornet won with a time of 2h10'48" the German Anton Palzer had a time of 2h11'25" and Matteo Eydallin was third with a time of 2h13'42". Manfred Reichegger and Martin Anthamatten did well.

On the women’s board Jennifer Fiechter won with a time of 2h28'50". Second was Axelle Mollaret, with 2h31'10" and third Katia Tomatis with a time of 2h32'02". Fourth was espoir the  Alba De Silvestro, fifth Lorna Bonnel. After the penalty Laetitia Roux slipped to sixth.

Among the espoirs Anton Palzerwas was always ahead of everyone else along with Nadir Maguet and Oriol Coll Cardona. Among the women De Silvestro beat Inka Naudi Belles and Eugenie Tornay. In junior women’s board Adèle Milloz was in first place followed by Giulia Compagnoni and Ina Forchthammer. In the junior men’s event Samuel Equy won beating Davide Magnini and Peter Canclini.

The Vertical and Individual Races are complete and Sunday morning will see the grand finale with the men’s jet event and the sprint race.
